West Coast Beaches
The west coast is as rugged as they get, prime surfing beaches are found up and down the coast with the most famous being Piha Beach. An easy drive out in your RaD West Auckland rental car on any day sun or rain, it is well worth a look! While there check out the Piha surf school and get yourself a lesson or two.
Woodhill Forrest
Mountain Biking has been going from strength to strength in New Zealand for many years now and the Woodhill Mountain Bike park is where it all began for Aucklanders. A short trip out takes you to an amazing forest with a sandy base, over 100km of epics trails have been built here and you can spend hours searching for that ultimate ride. Next door to the Mountain Bike park you will find the next best thing with Woodhill Tree adventures. These guys have created some epic courses through the pine trees and is an amazing adventure.
